**Responsibilities**:
- Provide cleaning services and basic maintenance in a safe and healthy manner.
- Heavy Duty Cleaning of plant machinery
- Keep office buildings, including cafeterias, washrooms, stairwells and walls in a clean and orderly condition.
- Sweep and mop floors and clean alleys and aisles using power and hand equipment.
- Clean dirt from ceilings, walls, windows and overhead fixtures. This includes scrubbing hallways, floors and stairs.
- Clean plant floors with powered floor scrubbers.
- Vacuum hallway rugs daily to remove dirt, scrap and other debris.
- Empty garbage cans and all other waste receptacles.
- Notify management if there is a need for repairs.
- Remove snow and debris from building entrances and stairs, and salt the doorways and walkways as required.
- Know and employ established practices and procedures for handling hazardous materials, equipment and processes as applicable.
- Communicate and work effectively with work-team members and other members of the company.
- Operate a counterbalance forklift
**Requirements**:
- Reliably commute to Stoney Creek
- Work 8 hour day shift
- Valid Driver’s Licence required to operate the Zamboni or power floor cleaners
- Good communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and team player
- One of the two open positions require forklift experience
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: From $17.00 per hour
