Brantford, Canada A-Line Greeting Cards Full time

**Reports To**

The Junior Art Director will report to the Vice-President of Product Development & Offshore Sourcing.

**Job Overview**

The Junior Art Director will primarily generate new greeting card, production ready designs for all seasonal and everyday brands.

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Designing refreshed everyday designs supporting the inventory launch schedule for offshore production.
- Design seasonal refreshment for all brands using the A-Line seasonal calendar timelines.
- Produce signage, flyers, catalogues and power point presentation support.
- Write and edit greeting card verse for all new designs.
- Must be enthusiastic to staying on top of leading design trends and color palette.
- Knowledge of social media trends, e-commerce and web design.
- Other duties as required.

**Qualifications**
- High school diploma.
- 2-3 year Graphic Design Degree.
- 3 years of practical experience with concept, layout and design.
- Skilled with all aspects of the creative process from copywriting to design and execution.
- Organized, methodical and able manage multiple diverse projects simultaneously.

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required**:

- Highly proficient in Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Power Point.
- Working knowledge in Excel and other MS office products.
- Can work in a Mac and PC platform.
- Strong creative skills in print graphics, digital design, website graphics and trade show collateral.

Pay: $40,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
