**Summary**

The Refinish Industry Business Development Specialist position, under the direction of the Vice President - BC, is primarily responsible for building key customer relationships with new and existing clients. The Refinish Industry Business Development Specialist position will work with staff from various departments to increase sales opportunities and maximize revenue. This role will manage existing clients to ensure ongoing satisfaction and retain business and will cold-call within a defined market or geographic area to ensure continual opportunities for business growth.

**Job Duties**
- Work with senior management to develop and align sales strategies and solutions.
- Plan and co-ordinate the implementation of sales strategies to facilitate penetration of new markets
- Research and understand collision organizations and markets to identify new opportunities
- Utilize negotiation, presentation skills, and a proven track record to successfully gain new business
- Develop account relationships by providing value added programs and services
- Strategize, plan, and co-ordinate process improvement opportunities
- Develop, gather and identify specific customer needs or goals
- Document, create, and present mutual action plans with the purpose of guiding a customer to reach his/her goals
- Provide market feedback to company leadership regarding competitive offerings, prospect needs and generate product development ideas
- Support and co-ordinate sales and technical teams in the following areas:

- KUBE deployment
- New customer deployment
- Shop process and execution
- Be a Color Compass Brand Ambassador and represent the same in the highest regard.
- Other duties as assigned

**Requirements**:

- Red Seal Refinish Certificate required
- Minimum of one (1) year of sales experience in a related industry
- Proven understanding of the industry and area of service
- Excellent organizational, strategic, planning, and implementation skills
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
- High level of integrity, confidentially, and accountability
- Ability to respond appropriately in high-pressure situations with a calm and steady demeanor
- Competency in Microsoft Office or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license and clean drivers abstract are a must
- Must possess moderate computer skills
- Excellent presentation skills

**Work Conditions**
- Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals
- Overtime as required
- Ability to attend and conduct presentations
- Travel may be required

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $75,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
