Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Business Development Specialist located in Vancouver, BC. The Business Development Specialist will be responsible for identifying potential business opportunities, building relationships with prospective clients and partners, negotiating contracts, developing strategies for business growth, and analyzing market trends. Additional tasks may include preparing proposals and presentations, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and representing the company at industry events.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Business Development, Account Management, and Sales
- Proven experience in Market Analysis, Opportunity Identification, and Strategic Planning
- Excellent Communication, Negotiation, and Interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships
- Experience with CRM software and data analysis tools is preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to achieving targets
- Experience in the building supplies or construction industry is an asset
