**Service Area - will cover from Peterborough to Stoney Creek but, mainly within Peel, Halton, and Hamilton regions**

Dhanoa Group would like to hire a full-time service technician/ maintenance person/handyman familiar with servicing restaurant equipment and general maintenance/repairs. Will be required to have a functioning mode of transportation with ample storage for necessary tools and parts.

**Hours of Availability & Responsibility**

The Service Technician will be required to be able to work any time (full-time hours) as per business needs. Also, the Service Technician may be required to handle emergency maintenance situations at the last minute, when circumstances arise; on the day, evening or overnight shift.

**Communication Skills**

Service Technicians must be able to effectively and professionally communicate with restaurant team members, their immediate Supervisor (Manager of Engineering, Equipment, and Maintenance) as well as 3rd party vendors.

**Job Duties**
- Working alone and on a team to troubleshoot and perform repair work on all restaurant equipment
- Must keep building(s) and facilities in good repair
- Using and maintaining trade tools and specialized service equipment
- Completion of invoices, settlement sheets and related paperwork
- Maintain, tools, parts, and equipment inventories

**Benefits**
- Hourly Pay Rate - $18.00 to $22.00 CAD per hour
- The Service Technician will have the option of enrollment into the DG Private Health Plan
