Reporting to VP Operations, the **Operations Manager **will be responsible for all safety, budgetary, people leadership and development, and operations objectives within a branch. This includes inside sales, fabrication, warehouse, and administration.
**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Drive Redwood’s Operations Vision and objectives for each year - review & update progress as defined by VP Operations
- Lead Inside Sales team - Establish & manage the direction for the inside sales
- Inventory and Purchasing - Partner with inventory and purchasing leaders to control inventory levels based on historical usage and forecast. Accountable for KPI’s such as inventory turns, inventory value and obsolete inventory.
- Drive quality and productivity for all processes including manufacturing, warehousing, distribution, inside sales and admin functions.
- Owner of base building responsibilities (HVAC, landscaping, alarm system, utilities, etc.)

- Order entry including SCT’s (Supply Chain Transfers)
- Order Acknowledgements
- CSM’s
- RMA’s - Debits - Credits
- Billing in a timely manner
- Monitor Freight Charges
- Data entry/filing
- Manage KPI’s and drive process improvements to achieve targets
- Prepare and manage operational budgets, drive profit margins for location
- Run daily profitability and month end reports
- Manage and drive staffing plans, schedules, Quality, Process Change and Continuous Improvement initiatives to enable the branch to attain Redwood’s Business Plan
- Work closely with the Business Development Manager to develop and implement sales plan
- Conduct employee performance evaluations, provide feedback and coaching where needed.
- Coordinate with HR to ensure branch is adequately staffed in each department
- Coordinate with centralized training department to organize and execute training programs for division personnel
- Conduct regular operations meetings with your teams to ensure work flow processes are being followed 100% and KPI targets are being met. Recognize employee achievements and enable excellence in the work environment
- Manage Customer enquiries and complaints which are escalated from the departments
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations for a business
- Adhere to high ethical and professional standards
**SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in a leadership role in Operations (Logistics, Supply Chain, Warehousing)
- Demonstrated experience in Performance Metrics, Lean Principles and Continuous Improvement
- Ability to effectively identify trends on issues that are impacting customer and employee experience and set strategies to eliminate them.
- Critical thinking, problem solving and decision-making skills
- Strong communication and analytical skills (Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite)
- Able to work under minimum supervision and act as a team player.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $90,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
