We are looking for an Assistant Operations Administrator for our strong growing college and team.
**Schedule**:Monday to Friday, 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm
You will be the face and a part of the day-to-day operations center of VanWest College located in downtown Vancouver. You will be a new addition to one of our fast-paced teams in the company. Being in the Operations Team means that you will be working with executives, students, visitors, teachers, suppliers, vendors, and other staff members. **Here are how your work on campus will look like**:
- Close the campus
- Enforce and follow the COVID-19 safety regulations
- Greet and interact with Career college students
- Assist with new student intake, orientation, student ID, collecting student information, contract, insurance and etc.
- Assist students with registrations, class change requests, textbook rentals, and any other student concerns or inquiries relevant to the college
- Providing student follow-up reports on various situations
- Provide general counselling/advising to students.
- Welcome walk-in and visitors and connect them with the right people at the college
- Call and mail handling
- Draft letters
- Keep meeting minutes
- Filing, scanning, and record management
- Assist teachers with classroom setup, technical issues, tests, and teaching materials
- Manage petty cash, textbook deposits, and report
- Assist the Operations Administrators
**Qualifications**:
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a multicultural environment
- Proficient in spoken and written English
- Knowledge of other cultures and languages
- Experience working in the education sector or in customer service.
