Our Japanese restaurant is located at Yaletown Beach Avenue

We are looking for new staff with great attitudes who are reliable, dependable, confident and willing to learn with enthusiasm, strong leader skill.

The staff who qualified to be a Supervisor if you are looking for a long term job For the person who is in Vancouver now.

Sponsorship possible if potentially to be a assistant manager after one year working.

Open Monday to Sunday (Tuesday Closed)

Shifts start between 11:30am - 10:00 pm.
Full time 4 to 5 days, 8 to 10 hours per day, 30 to 40 Hours weekly

**Requirement**

Serving it right

Able to work in a busy, fast paced environment. Food and drink suggestions/ pairing.

English language skill level: fluent

Second Language : Japanese ( prefer)

Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident preferred, if work permit - one year

Basic knowledge of Japanese cuisine

Wine and Sake knowledge ( Priority )

Responsibility:

- Training staff
- Knowledge of the menu, with the ability to make suggestions
- Helps patrons select food and beverages by suggesting courses, explaining the chef’s specialties, identifying appropriate beverage pairings, and answering food preparation questions.
- Bartending
- Opening and Closing duties
- Attend to customers upon entrance, assigned sitting for guests
- Answering phone calls
- Cleaning duties such as stocking, sanitizing, sweeping floors
- Following the inventory, placing orders for the restaurant

**Salary**: From $18.00 per hour
