**Summary**:
Apetito HFS, a global leader in the supply of nutritious, great-tasting meals for hospitals, care homes, and Meals on Wheels is looking for a production supervisor to join our team.

The person undertaking this role needs to be driven to motivate the team and support them day to day, have good people management skills, and want to develop a multiskilled team to ensure the best department cover and flexibility.

**Responsibilities**:
**1) Customer Service Management**:

- Supervise and lead a team of customer service representatives
- Handle escalated customer issues and complaints, ensuring prompt and satisfactory resolutions.
- Foster a customer-centric culture throughout the organization, ensuring a positive customer experience at every touchpoint.
- Report customer service performance metrics at daily supply chain meetings
- Maintain an active and up to date out of stock report
- Communicate with the sales team on customer issues and communications as required
- Send weekly shipping manifest
- Manage customer credits and product returns
- Support US export process

**2) Logistics Management**:

- Oversee carrier bookings, transportation planning, and coordination of shipments to customer
- Liaise with the warehouse team for add-ons and picking error communication
- Manage relationships with carriers ensuring best value carrier is selected for all routes
- Resolve shipping issues such as delays, damages, shipping errors etc.
- Communicate pertinent shipping updates to customers as necessary.

**Qualifications Essential**:

- College degree in business administration, logistics, supply chain management or a related field
- 5+ years experience leading a customer service or logistics team
- Experience working within an ERP system
- Capable of using MS Office suite - Word, Outlook, Teams

Contract length: 3-6 months

**Salary**: $70,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
