**Position Type/Schedule**

This role will be onsite based out of the branch location. This is a full-time position, Monday-Friday. 40 hours per week.

**About the role**

The have an exciting opening for a leadership role. The Warehouse Supervisor plays a pivotal role in managing the day-to-day staffing requirements of the warehouse. This aligns with one of our core value of operational excellence. This position involves meticulous oversight of tasks related to product shipping and receiving, ensuring the execution of work in a secure and efficient manner. Collaborating closely with the Customer Service Manager, the Warehouse Supervisor actively monitors the performance of Material Handler(s) and provides support or training as necessary.

**On a day to day basis, you will be expected to**:
Conduct staff supervision, staff coordination, staff training, internal communication and end day requirements. This position provides back up to Material Handler, Warehouse Administrator and duties as required. Ensure all quality assurance programs ( ISO 9001) are followed in all aspects of operational processes.
- RRSP matching after 1 year of employment
- high school completion
- post secondary education in Parts, Warehousing, Operations, Logistics & Distribution or a combination of relevant expereince and education
- 5+ years of distribution and warehouse experience
- 3+ years of demonstrated supervisory ability using leadership skills and techniques to train and mentor warehouse staff
- English language proficiency is a must
- Good computer skills with proficiency in MS Office and the ability to learn new software quickly
- Previous experience with warehouse management software, such as Pathguide or Latitude would be an asset
- RF Scanner software and administration experience is a strong asset
- Basic mathematical skills with ability to calculate simple equations mentally
- Forklift operator certification and WHMIS training is an asset
