Career Opportunity: Carpet and Vinyl Floor Covering Installer (Subcontractor)

Where: Victoria, BC

Type: FULL-TIME

When: Weekdays and weekends (overtime as required)

A Day in the life of
The Carpet and Vinyl Floor Covering Installer will be responsible for measuring, prepping, and installing of new flooring in residential homes and businesses. He or she will be tasked with preparing the worksite, removing items to be replaced, and completing required installations.

What we need from you
- Must have WCB coverage, be active and in good standing, and be able to provide a Clearance Certificate/Letter.
- A minimum of four years experience in the flooring industry.
- Valid class 5 driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
- Must be able to lift/carry excess of 50lbs and occasionally lift an excess of 100lbs.
- Carpet and vinyl installation is a must.
- Must have your own tools and vehicle.
- Must provide invoices on each job performed (pay will be based on a per job basis).
- Must be able to provide references.
- Professional appearance and attitude.

- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed
