Oakridge Landscape Contractors is looking for a Landscape Construction Lead Head. This position will involve assisting in the daily management of construction projects and includes the use of numerous types of related equipment.

**Job Details**:

- ** Position**: Landscape Construction Lead Hand
- ** Location**: Hamilton, ON (covers Hamilton/Grimsby/St. Catharines/Niagara Falls areas)
- ** Pay**: $22-26 per hour (Benefits after 3 months)

**Key Duties include**:

- Assist foreperson with the management of a crew of 3-6 people
- Drive company truck and trailer
- Read blueprints
- Installation of natural stone (flag, armor, etc.)
- Installation of interlock paving stone
- Installation of precast pavers and retaining walls
- Ability to dig holes (when needed), place soils, plant trees, and shrubs, etc.
- Trim shrubs and evergreens

**Job Requirements**:

- Valid Driver’s License “G” is required
- Clean Driver’s Abstract
- Minimum of 2-5 years field experience
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
- Knowledge of specific materials, methods, tools, and equipment required to complete various landscape/construction practices
- Strong knowledge of job safety and safe work habits
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work long hours and the occasional Saturday
