We are looking for a **Bilingual Claims Assistant.**
The main purpose of this job is to provide full administrative support for the entire Living Benefits Claims Department and is the main contact for our Living Benefit insurance partners in the field (agents, brokers, policyholders, Sales and Marketing Centre personnel, etc ).
**What you will do**
- Setting up new claims
- Picking up and sorting benefit and medfee cheques and putting them in proper envelopes
- Handling letters regarding our stale-dated cheques
**What you will bring**
- Excellent keyboarding skills;
- Good reading comprehension;
- ** Good English and French language skills;**:
- Basic PC computer & Microsoft Office skills;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Strong customer service skills;
- Comfortable working in a technology based environment;
- Knowledge of Individual Insurance (asset);
- A minimum of 1 year of cumulative work experience;
- A high school diploma;

The base salary for this position is between **$37,300.00 minimum****:
- $50,400.00 maximum** annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc). If you are selected to move forward in our recruitment process, your recruiter will be able to discuss additional details of our total rewards program with you.
