**Position Overview**:
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Finance, the Finance Assistant will be responsible for recording, reporting, tracking, and completing transactions related to TFSE business at the Redwoods Golf Course.
- _Verify cash, credit, and debit transactions after events and ensure that it balances with applicable reports_
- _Gather cash together, create deposit slips, and package everything together for collection by Garda_
- _Create floats for servers and retail locations as needed_
- _Clean and reconcile floats after events_
- _Balance the safe_
- _Ensure a continued supply of change for the safe, including going to the bank to collect coin orders_
- _Deposit cheques and cash, track the payment details and balance against customer ledgers_
- _Complete a weekly breakdown of all revenue, allocate into sales form, carious locations/types, deposits taken payments for events etc._
- _Enter payroll timesheets on the payroll date_
- _Enter invoices into Sage, and ensure appropriate coding is provided by the applicable Manager_
- _Assist with audit duties as needed_
- _Other duties as assigned_

- _Moderate proficiency with Office 365, primarily with Excel and Outlook_
- _Moderate proficiency with Sage 50 or comparable_
- _Fully proficient in spoken and written English, with a second language considered an asset_
- _Experience with MS Windows 10 operating system_
- _Cash handling experience_

**Qualifications**:

- _Completion of post-secondary education in a discipline such as accounting, bookkeeping, finance, or other related disciplines_
- _Minimum one year of experience in a similar role_
- _Willingness to complete a Police Information Check_
- _Valid First Aid Level 1, CPS and AED Certification, or equivalent will be required to be maintained during employment_
- Operated by Ten Feet Sports and Entertainment, Redwoods Golf Course has been serving locals and guests since 1994. Redwoods is situated in North Langley just off Highway #1 and minutes from the Golden Ears Bridge._
