We have a Part-time need for a dynamic Events Management Specialist that has a breadth of experience in planning, design, coordination and management of internal corporate events and external trade shows. This includes creating events/venue concepts, and budgets, handling logistics, event marketing and evaluating effectiveness.

We are looking for a creative, engaging and adaptable professional to join the Marketing Team on a part-time basis for approximately 9-10 months. We are very flexible, in that this person can work either on a temporary basis as an employee or on a contract basis as a priority client. Although this opportunity could work remotely, there will be times when the person would need to be in the office, especially for internal events.

Key Responsibility Areas:

- External - Vitalus Trade Shows & Conferences
- Internal - Corporate Events (Townhalls)
- Planning & Coordinating Customer Social Events
- Pre & Post Events Reporting

- Strong organizational & project management skills:

- Detail-oriented, ability to prioritize tasks, track projects and meet urgent deadlines.
- Ability to manage, prioritize and deliver/execute multiple tasks, projects and assignments effectively under pressure and adhere to deadlines.
- Problem solver with solid analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot as the need arises.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in Marketing, Product Communications, Sales or Business with at least 3 years of work experience in a similar role.
- Previous experience in the effective coordination of projects, annual business plans, and internal/external events.
- Superior time management skills, detail orientation, multitasking skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks with mínimal supervision.
- Demonstrates strong written and verbal skills to clearly communicate with all levels of the organization and external partners/customers.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract, Freelance
Contract length: 9 months
Part-time hours: 16-24 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus pay

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Abbotsford, BC
