Landscape Maintenance Foreman/forewoman

- Supervise, direct and manage crews for maximum efficiency and quality of work. Leads by example.
- Ensuring all crew members obey health and safety regulations at all times.
- Oversee maintenance of lawns, trees, shrubs and gardens, and ensuring proper use of pesticides, fertilizers, and other chemicals.
- Manage safety, quality, and productivity of work at sites and/ or shop/yard
- Oversee Seasonal Planting and Landscape Renovations
- Operate power equipment including, but not limited to, lawn mowers, line trimmers, blowers, hedge trimmers pruning saws, aerators and power rakes
- Envisions maintenance services completion and sets out relevant, time bound goals for crews to achieve
- Mentors and guides direct reports
- Monitors production of the crews
- Monitors and tracks job hours of all crew members and reports them in a timely manner to the Landscape Facilitator for payroll purposes and job cost accounting.
- Keeps trucks and tools neat, clean and in good working order including to clean shop. Enlists the help of all crew to assist in this task.
- Engages in conflict resolution and works with managers to resolve issues
- Oversee and prepare daily tasks for maintenance crews
- Controls production and production standards on the job site
- Reviews property maintenance success and provides feedback for improvement in conjunction with management
- Perform other manual duties to clean and maintain landscape environments, shop, equipment and trucks.
- Completing inventory checks and equipment inspections.
- Providing cost, material, equipment, and time estimates.
- Scheduling training sessions wherever required.
- Recruiting and training new crew members.
- Advise clients on how to look after the landscape
- Follows all safety rules, company policies and regulations.
- Stocks and drives landscape vehicles to the jobsite.
- Completes other duties as assigned Landscape Maintenance Foreperson.
- Take the mandatory photo(s) and descriptive notes of finished (and unfinished) work with what was done on QuickBooks App daily.

**Requirements**:

- Must have 5 years prior experience as a crew foreman/forewoman.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and time management skills.
- Ability to communicate and report effectively.
- Problem-solving abilities.
- Good physical condition, manual dexterity and stamina.
- Able to bend, kneel, walk, stand, crouch for long periods of time during the workday.
- Able to work in all outdoor conditions: heat, cold, humidity, rain, dust, mud, etc.
- Positive outlook, ‘can do’ attitude and a team player.

Pay: $29.00-$31.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
