Reporting to the Director of Diagnostic Imaging, the Flow Coordinator will be a valued member of the Diagnostic Imaging Team facilitating effective flow of outpatients, ED/Clinics, and inpatients requiring imaging to provide an extraordinary patient experience. Diagnostic Imaging is a regional program at Niagara Health, the Flow Coordinator will work to ensure efficient utilization and wait time balancing between sites. Working collaboratively with Leaders, Charge Technologists, Radiologists, Nurses, patients, and other providers, the Flow Coordinator will organize schedules across all modalities to avoid delays ensure that all procedures are completed in a timely manner. This position is responsible for helping to facilitate the effective and efficient scheduling and flow of patients within diagnostic imaging. The Flow Coordinator is responsible for managing computer systems, including HIS, monitoring wait times, and entering administrative data. This position will play an integral role with optimizing care for our patients and improving workflows. **DUTIES**: - Patient coordination and navigation of medical imaging across sites - Facilitate effective workflow management of bookings and HIS systems - Monitor wait times and escalate concerns with timely access to Medical Imaging for urgent and non-urgent referrals - Collaborative manage bookings of complex and specialty exams - Communicate with Medical Imaging teams, patients and providers - Data Management of wait times and other administrative data (WTIS.
