Receptionist/administrative Assistant

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Receiving visitors at the front desk by greeting, welcoming, directing and announcing them appropriately
- Answering, screening, and forwarding incoming phone calls
- Picking up and sorting daily mail
- Maintain a cheerful attitude while answering inbound calls and addressing customer or sales team needs
- Establish active communication and engagement with all other departments to help where necessary
- Prepare catalogue or sample mailings, compile new prospect lists
- Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and materials
- Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk
- Update vacation calendar
- Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying
- Maintain phone system and photocopier
- Order entry as needed
- Other duties as assigned
**Requirements**:
- Proven work experience as a receptionist, front office representative or similar role
- Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, Word, and CRM software
- Hands-on experience with office equipment (telephones, photocopiers etc.)
- Professional attitude and appearance
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strongly skilled in data entry and customer service
- Valid driver’s license
- French language would be considered an asset
