**Overview**
We were voted Ottawa‘s Top Choice Dental Clinic for 2023, 2024 and 2025. We are now seeking a Dental Assistant to join our growing team and work with Dr. McAllister.

We are a privately owned dental clinic that offers all the latest dental technology including iTero for digital scanning, GBT Airflow for hygiene, Adec dental chairs and automated sterilization equipment with Sterilwize.

**Responsibilities**
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as required.
- Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions, and addressing any concerns.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans.
- Sterilize instruments and ensure compliance with infection control protocols.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow efficiently.
- Support front desk operations as needed, including handling phone calls and managing patient inquiries.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a smooth workflow in the office.

**Skills**
- Proficiency in Dental Assisting techniques and practices.
- Experience or knowledge of Digital Dentistry is highly desirable.
- Competence in using ClearDent or similar dental practice management software.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining professionalism.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages.
- Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist or is a plus.
- Bilingual language skills (French/English) is considered an asset.
