Parts Manager

**Job Overview**
**Responsibilities**
- Manage the daily operations of the parts department, ensuring efficient workflow and customer satisfaction.
- Oversee inventory management, including data entry and demand planning to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to source parts effectively while negotiating favorable terms with suppliers.
- Collaborate with service technicians to understand parts requirements and ensure timely availability of necessary components.
- Utilize ERP systems and CMMS for tracking inventory levels, orders, and supplier performance.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, processing orders, and resolving any issues related to parts supply.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and ensure compliance with dealership policies and procedures.
- Train and mentor staff on best practices in inventory management, sourcing, and customer interaction.
**Experience**
- Previous experience in a dealership environment is highly preferred.
- Strong background in data entry, purchasing, procurement, and supply chain management.
- Proficiency in negotiation skills with a proven track record of successful supplier relationships.
- Mechanical knowledge is essential; familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus.
- Experience in manufacturing processes or environments is beneficial.
- Ability to operate a forklift safely is required.
Pay: $42,500.12-$95,589.15 per year
