We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Human Resources Specialist to join our team. As an HR Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting the HR department in all areas of human resources management, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, and compliance with employment laws.

Key Responsibilities:

- Employee Relations: Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries, addressing concerns and resolving issues in a fair and consistent manner. Foster positive employee relations and provide guidance on company policies and procedures.
- Performance Management: Support performance review processes, assist in the development of performance improvement plans, and provide coaching and guidance to managers and employees.
- Compensation and Benefits Administration: Assist in administering employee compensation, benefits, and wellness programs. Ensure that benefits and policies comply with local regulations and company standards.
- Compliance and Legal: Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations in Ontario, including the Ontario Employment Standards Act (ESA), Occupational Health and Safety Act, and other applicable legal requirements. Assist in developing and enforcing company policies in alignment with best practices and legal standards.
- Training and Development: Assist in identifying training and development needs within the organization and coordinate or deliver programs aimed at enhancing employee skills and knowledge.
- HR Reporting: Generate reports on key HR metrics (turnover rates, recruitment progress, employee satisfaction) to support data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.

**Qualifications**:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. HR certification (CHRP or equivalent) is preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a human resources role, with a focus on recruitment, employee relations, or benefits administration.

**Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws in Ontario, Canada.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- High attention to detail and confidentiality.
