**Job Summary**
Assisting the dentist doing dental procedures including all areas of general dentistry. You will be sharing responsibilities with another assistant for assisting and also helping with sterilization and administration.

**Duties**
- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as required.
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment documentation.
- Schedule appointments and manage the front desk as needed, including handling patient inquiries.
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with the dental team to enhance patient experience and streamline office operations.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or similar role is preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and dental procedures, including pediatrics and orthodontics, is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Good communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
- Certification in dental assisting is preferred but not mandatory.

Pay: $26.00-$32.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
