**Job Opportunity: Kitchen Staff (Full-Time) Location: BOKU Distillery**

Boku Japanese Eats + Drink had been serving Japanese inspired fares in Toronto for well over a decade. Located at the historic location of Distillery District, a bustling tourist destination, we tirelessly serve hungry visitors from all around the world.

To support our growing operations, we are currently seeking for dedicated **Kitchen Staff**members to join our back-of-house team.

We offer a supportive work environment with opportunities for growth and skill development. Additional responsibilities and better compensation will be offered as you meet satisfactory performance.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and organize ingredients according to daily needs.
- Cook and present dishes according to recipes and standards within the required timeframe.
- Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized kitchen environment at all times.
- Follow food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Assist in receiving and storing kitchen supplies.
- Cooperate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum **1 years**of experience working in a kitchen environment
- Strong understanding in food safety and handling.
- Solid culinary senses; Knife skill, eyes for doneness, fine motor skills, etc.
- Proper work ethic and self motivation.
- Ability to communicate and coordinate effectively within a team.
- Resistance to stressful situations in a fast paced environment.
- Endurance to work continuously whilst standing for six to eleven hours.
- Flexible schedule to work in late evenings, weekends, and holidays.
