Responsibilities / Job Duties
- Ability to work independently, uses good judgment, and prioritizes.
- Perform and execute duties consistent within policy and procedure
- Provide professional interaction clients and co-workers
- Participate in a professional, constructive and supportive environment for all employees with an attention to open communication and a team concept
- Follow requirements of job duties, safety procedures and company policies
- Responsible for downloading and using security apps to complete reports, clock in and out from, and scan bar codes when required (Must have a smart phone with data for shifts)
- Able to greet people in a friendly manner, providing great customer service and security
- Acknowledge residents/clients in a professional manner with the ability to Identify intoxicated persons and suspicious persons and/or activity, exercise crowd control and evict trespassers, defuse potentially volatile situations and intervene when necessary
- Review surveillance footage as requested - Observe and report violations relative to regulatory and hazardous, dangerous or unsafe conditions following policy and procedure
- Ability to monitor facility entrances, or site premise, verifying authorization and or to guard against theft of company property
- Maintains safe and secure environment for customers and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel
- Responds to all emergencies such as fire, injuries, property damage, etc.; investigates and completes reports
- Ability to write comprehensive reports
- Ability to use apps for scanning and reporting
- Respond to emergency calls as required
- Other duties as assigned by the Security Manager

To Be Successful in this Role You Will Need / Job Requirements:

- High School Diploma or GED Certificate or equivalent
- Ability to speak English fluently and use proper grammar and spelling to compose reports demonstrated ability to read and comprehend written instructions
- Security Guard License (BST)
- Need to be available to work flexible hours
- Maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance
- Smart Phone and Data required for all positions
- Great communication and people skills
