Are you committed to protecting your community? Blackbird Security is seeking to hire **Uniform Security Guards** in **Burnaby, BC **for a variety of sites (retail, warehouses, residential).

**What you will do**
- Establish a strong security presence to deter crime and theft
- Provide excellent customer service to our clients, customers and patrons
- Patrol the premises, provide access control and respond to emergency situations in an appropriate and timely manner
- Perform safety and security duties with the highest standards of professionalism and integrity
- Complete incident reports for security purposes
- Respond to emergencies and escalate to law enforcement agencies as required
- A Valid Security License
- Previous security experience in a retail environment
- Strong communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Willingness to attend meetings and improve skills’
- Ability to work without close supervision
- Willing to stand and patrol for the duration of the shift
- Advanced Security Training (authorization to carry handcuffs) is an asset

**Salary**: $17.00-$19.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
