**Full Job Description**

**Corporate Accountant - Hotel Group**

Toronto based hotel group is seeking an experienced hotel accountant, lead to direct the accounting operations of the organization into a promising future. If you are a seasoned accountant looking for the opportunity to contribute your ideas to the evolution of the company this may be your next move.

**You will need**:

- At least 3-4 years HOTEL ACCOUNTING experience
- Experience with multiple hotels
- Experience with Business Intelligence Systems
- Ideally including knowledge of Sage 300
- Excellent Knowledge in Microsoft office
- Excellent communications and organizational abilities
- Supervisory experience in full cycle accounting
- Proficient technical accounting knowledge

**Responsibilities include**:

- Supervising the accounting department in all daily operations
- Accounting
- Hiring, training, overseeing Hotel accountants
- Reviewing financial statements prepared in unit
- Ensuring timely reporting and statements
- Dealing with General Managers on accounting issues including
- all matters related to property accounting
- Implementing and monitoring internal controls
- Reviewing Year End audit data
- Coordinating external audits
- Ad hoc analysis
- Performing duties for special projects as required
- Dealing with CRA/Revenue to resolve any issues
- Working with senior management implementing new Business Intelligence System
- Auditing all documents for expiration and best deals
- Scheduling renewals of said documents
- Auditing loans and ensuring related action as required
- Assist due diligence for acquisition and sale of properties
- Streamline efficacy and efficiency of accounting cycle process

**Job Types**: Part-time, Full-time
Part-time hours: 24-40 per week

**Salary**: $40,000.00-$50,000.00 per year

- Morning shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- North York, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:
