Usa Immigration Lawyer

**Overview**:
We are looking for a qualified USA Immigration lawyer/consultant who can advise clients on legal matters, represents them in court, conducts legal research, prepares and files legal documents like contracts and wills, interprets laws and regulations, gathers evidence, negotiates settlements, and argues cases on behalf of their clients, all while upholding ethical standards and client confidentiality.

**Skills and Qualifications Required**:

- Minimum 1-2 year of experience practicing in USA Immigration Law.
- Must be highly organized, have a keen attention for detail and ability to work under pressure
- Licensed to practice in USA.
- Strong understanding of relevant statutes, case law, and court procedure
- Excellent advocacy, negotiation, and communication skills in English.

**Job Responsibilities for a US Immigration Lawyer/Consultant**:
1**. Client Consultation and Advice**:

- Assess client’s eligibility for USA visas, green cards, naturalization, or other immigration benefits.
- Explain immigration processes and options to the prospective clients.
- Provide legal advice regarding compliance with U.S. immigration laws.

**2. Case Preparation and Filing**:

- Gather and organize client documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Draft and file legal documents, including waivers and affidavits.

**3. Legal Representation**:

- Represent clients in front of immigration authorities, such as:

- U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).
- Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
- Executive Office for Immigration Review (immigration courts).
- Attend interviews, hearings, and appeals on behalf of clients.
- Handle deportation defense and removal proceedings.

**4. Compliance and Risk Management**:

- Advise businesses and individuals on immigration law compliance (e.g., I-9 verification, employer-sponsored visas like H-1B or L-1).

**5. Document Review and Management**:

- Track deadlines and maintain organized case files.
- Respond to requests for evidence (RFEs) and other inquiries from immigration authorities

Pay: From $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Additional pay:

- Bonus pay
- Commission pay
- Overtime pay
