**Position Title**: ARC Administrator

**Reports To**:Jordan’s Principle Program Team Lead

**Position Overview**:
The ARC Administrator for the Approved Request Contingency (ARC) Fund will play a critical role in supporting third-party payments for approved requests submitted by Service Coordinators. This initiative aims to streamline the delivery of payments and reduce administrative delays, ultimately improving service to Indigenous communities. The ARC Administrator will facilitate payments to parents/guardians and service providers on behalf of Indigenous Services Canada, ensuring seamless, accurate, and timely fund disbursement. The position also involves liaising directly with Indigenous requestors and contributing to data collection and reporting efforts to uphold compliance and transparency.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Payment Coordination**:

- Process and coordinate payments to parents/guardians and service providers as approved by the ARC Fund initiative, ensuring all financial procedures and documentation are accurately completed.
- Maintain precise and up-to-date financial records related to all payments.
- Collaborate with Indigenous Services Canada to ensure all payments align with relevant regulations and standards

**Communication and Liaison**:

- Serve as the main point of contact for Indigenous requestors regarding ARC Fund payment processes, offering guidance, updates, and support as needed.
- Collaborate with Indigenous Services Canada representatives to maintain compliance and promote effective service delivery.
- Work closely with the Jordan’s Principle Service Coordinator to address any questions, challenges, or special requests related to ARC Fund activities.

**Data Collection and Reporting**:

- Ensure accurate data entry and management related to all funding processes and payments.
- Prepare and submit reports on ARC Fund activities, financial status, and relevant data to stakeholders as required.
- Contribute to process improvements by identifying areas for efficiency, reducing administrative delays, and optimizing data collection strategies.

**Support Functions**:

- Provide as-needed support to the Jordan’s Principle Service Coordinator, including assistance in implementing Enhanced Service Coordination models and related initiatives.
- Address any administrative or process challenges related to ARC Fund operations promptly and professionally.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- A degree in business administration, finance, social services, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrated experience in financial management, payment coordination, or administrative roles, ideally in programs related to Indigenous services.
- Strong understanding of Indigenous communities, culture, and relevant federal initiatives, such as Jordan’s Principle.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with Indigenous requestors, government representatives, and partner organizations.
- High proficiency in data management and reporting systems.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Experience working with government or third-party payment initiatives.
- Familiarity with Indigenous Services Canada protocols and requirements.
- Knowledge of financial regulations and best practices in fund disbursement.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $28.00-$32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
