Ottawa, Canada Lepine Apartments Full time

The Leasing Agent is responsible to the Leasing Manager for closing leases in accordance with the targets, conditions, guidelines policies and values set/informed by the Leasing Manager. The Leasing office must be staffed during business hours and the leasing agent will be required to work a schedule that most efficiently ensures this, as determined by the leasing manager.

The Leasing Agent role and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Achievement of the leasing targets / profile.
- Developing a thorough understanding and practical knowledge of the Lépine product (i.e., apartment, building, lifestyle, and value proposition of leasing vs buying).
- Fully understanding the Lépine conditions, guidelines, policies, procedures, and values as laid out in the Leasing Centre Manual and Property Management Manual and ensuring that leasing is carried out in accordance with them.
- Working with other Leasing Centre and Lépine staff to ensure that the ‘customer journey' is as smooth and pleasant as possible from first contact to becoming a tenant.
- Attending shows / special events as required.
- Ensuring that Information systems (e.g., Sales Force etc.) are kept up to date with lead/prospect contact information etc. and that all other administration (both paper and on-line) is correct, accurate and completed in a timely manner.
- Remaining fully up to date with all current and emerging marketing / advertising activity - provide input into that activity based on experience and feedback from various campaigns.
- Remaining aware of all recent, current, and emerging developments (e.g., competitor projects) that may require adaptations to the customer message.
- Continuously improving Leasing Centre practices and processes, constantly working to improve efficiency, reduce errors and improve the customer and staff experience. Ensuring a culture of learning and collaboration.
