**Stoney Creek Ready Mix** is celebrating 15 years in service. We are a family owned and operated concrete supplier in Hamilton. We run mobile concrete mixers, these trucks mix the concrete ingredients onsite which means they can make multiple concrete deliveries without the need to return to the plant and reload in between jobs.

We are looking for a dispatcher. Someone who will be the link between our customers and our drivers. This person should be enthusiastic, outgoing, articulate, and patient.

**Overview**

The Dispatcher is responsible for Customer Service and satisfaction. He/she is responsible for managing the truck fleets daily operation and oversees the day-to-day activities of the Dispatch, such as scheduling drivers, taking orders, COD sales, customer service, tracking equipment and job progress, etc.

**Order Taking and Dispatch**:

- Supervise day to day dispatch activities.
- Manage daily and weekly schedules.
- Assist order desk in taking orders and maintain customer relations.
- Ensure on-time delivery of materials to customers.
- Ensure order / ticket information is correct.
- Ensure invoices are accurately billed.
- Proactively communicate between drivers, customers, and back-office staff to ensure timely deliveries and resolutions should any incidents arise.

**Knowledge**
- A college degree in logistics, supply chain management, business, or significant industry experience.
- Ready Mix or general dispatch is an asset.
- Customer service experience is an asset.
- knowledge of basic math: volume calculations.
- Knowledge of office administration.
- Must be able to accurately collect and share information with customers and drivers.

**Schedule**
- Monday to Friday 7:00am - 5:00pm
- Saturday 8:00 - 1:00 (every other Saturday)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
