A private college located in Downtown Vancouver is looking for a business instructor.

Here are the details:
Job Summary:
This position requires the instructor to teach students about general business principles in North America using a systematic plan of lectures, demonstrations, discussion groups and independent or group projects

Schedule:
Weekend Classes, 9:00am to 5:00pm

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Teach students using a systematic plan with clear learning objectives
- Prepare, administer and mark tests (when necessary)
- Advise students on program curricula
- Maintain a professional relationship with students while ensuring that their general well-being is also looked after
- Update and maintain grades on a weekly basis
- Keep accurate records of student attendance and report patterns of absence

Qualifications:

- University degree in a business-related field and a minimum 5 years of corporate training or business-related work experience OR 10 years of full-time business experience
- Teaching experience with international students preferred (minimum 2 years)
- Fluent command of the English language; both verbal and written mastery
- must be proficient in Microsoft Office especially, Excel/PowerPoint, and fluent with Social Media
