Our Tasting Room is the perfect place to welcome guests with a fun vibe, killer wine and welcoming, knowledgeable staff.

You: People focused, super friendly, fun, hard-working, reliable team player. Motivated to work, learn, assist and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Wine knowledge is appreciated but not absolutely necessary (we can teach wine, we can't teach a great personality). This is a Saturday and/or Sunday, Long Weekends and Holidays position and perfect for someone who is looking to make extra money while immersed in wine and a positive environment.

Qualifiers:

- Must be 19 years of age or older
- Must have Valid Driver's License
- Warm, friendly, outgoing, professional and reliable
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
- Computer skills within a POS system strongly desired
- Ability and desire to become knowledgeable about: Our wines, vineyards, proprietors and business
- Ability and desire to become knowledgeable about BCLDB regulations regarding alcohol service and to adhere to all rules
- Remain standing and actively working for up to 8 hours.
- Able to lift up to 40-50lbs. and to crawl, stoop and bend, repeatedly

**Duties**:

- Assist in all day to day operations (opening, closing, stocking, cleaning, and OF COURSE, making our guests stoked on all that is Seaside Pearl Winery
- Contribute to a positive and respectful work environment, consistent with the Seaside Pearl Winery’s values
- Conduct wine tastings
- Educate; promote our wines, Wine Club and the Fraser Valley, Okanagan Valley and Similkameen Valley wine regions
- Consistently demonstrate a friendly, professional attitude
- Extra vigilant in regard to underage customers; asking for ID consistently
- Identify and acknowledge Wine Club Members, making them feel welcome/special
- Promote Club (Wine Club)
- Keep our tasting room space clean, tidy and functional
- Customer Safety: vigilance in regard to not serving intoxicated guests
- Maintain a professional conduct and appearance

This is an hourly, part-time position with opportunity for bonuses and tips.
