Duties:

- Provide direct support and care to individuals with developmental disabilities
- Assist residents with daily activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration
- Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behaviors and independence
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including social workers, nurses, and therapists to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Ensure the rights and dignity of residents are respected at all times
- Maintain accurate documentation of resident progress and any incidents or observations

**Requirements**:

- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques and strategies
- Ability to lift and assist residents with mobility needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Note: This position may involve working with individuals on the autism spectrum.
