Job description:
Residential/Developmental Care Worker (Male, Full-time)

The Support Worker will be reporting to Beleva's Group Home where the clients reside and will be responsible for a wide range of services, such as personal care, behavior management, mental health support, and so on, in order to help our clients live their lives to the fullest. Other responsibilities could include assistance with everyday tasks such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and detailed note-taking, all while ensuring the client's safety and comfort.

The Specialized Support Workers implement programs and consistently communicate with families and members of the team to develop the most person-centered plan to meet the needs and goals of all individuals. Qualifications & Requirements:

- First-Aid, CPR
- Crises intervention certification
- Police Vulnerable check & child welfare check
- Autism experience
- Experience Support Care: 1 year
- Covid-19 double vaccination
- Valid driver’s license and reliable car
- Personal Support Worker diploma or equivalent (preferred)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $18.00-$21.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- Down Syndrome: 1 year (preferred)
- supportive care: 2 years (preferred)
- Autism: 2 years (required)

**Language**:

- Fluent English (required)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (required)
- Crises intervention training. UMAB/NVCI/Safe management (required)
- police vulnerable and child welfare check (required)
