Do you want to be selling a big-ticket item in the $25,000 to $1million dollar range, with the average sale being near $250,000?
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Sales Representative to support the Greater Toronto area. We would prefer someone with commercial roofing experience, but we will train someone who is willing to work their butt off to be a superstar You may have a construction, outside sales, industrial sales or other background, but we will train you if you have the personality and desire to be our next top salesperson We are looking for someone with experience in selling roofing or building services to building owners, property managers and the construction industry. At Guycan we take a no-pressure, highly consultative approach to sales.
**Responsibilities**
- Develop a professional working relationship with existing and future customers
- Travel through the market working with customers to ensure projects are delivered on time
- Manage existing accounts and generate new leads to maintain a healthy sales pipe line
- Conduct customer site visits and generate professional proposals
- Work with customers from introduction to initial sale to close out of project
- Purchase special order products for clients, prepare necessary paperwork and paper flow to meet customer scheduled deliveries
- Provide customer information on product selection and availability
**Qualifications**
- Proven ability in sales within the construction industry with building supplies, ideally roofing
- Excellent communication skills; bilingualism is an asset but not required
- Proven ability to build sales and maintain strong customer relations
- Technical school, college education, or experience in the building construction industry is an asset but not required
- Ability to differentiate building material products and appropriate uses; is an asset but not required
- Ability to read and interpret blue prints; is an asset but not required
- Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
We have extensive protocols in place that exceed minimum Ministry requirements in order to maintain a safe workplace.

Pay: $45,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
