**The Opportunity**

**Responsibilities**
- Data Reporting: Perform ad hoc analysis and communicate results to stakeholders in a clear and effective manner. Key areas of focus include product and customer segmentation, as well as analytics to support assumptions in business cases
- Performance dashboards: Maintain and enhance Bank performance dashboards to provide insight and inform decisions on the product portfolio as well as measure the success of strategic promotions and cross sell initiatives
- Competitive reporting: Perform ad hoc competitive analysis and reporting on industry trends, market share as well as specific product and marketing initiatives
- Liase with other areas in Canadian Division to leverage customer data and segmentation initiatives and best practice

**What we are looking for**
- Post-secondary education in an analytical or quantitative discipline (e.g. Math, CS, Engineering, Economics).
- Experience in an analytical environment manipulating large amounts of data (e.g. Data Analyst, Business/Operations Analyst or Statistician), preferably within a financial institution.
- Business Intelligence experience, including the generation of analytical reports for internal or external customers.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex problems in a clear and concise manner to senior colleagues.
- Advanced level Excel (Pivot Tables, VBA Macros)
- Intermediate level SQL (Joins, Aggregate Functions, Sub Queries)

**Nice to Haves**:

- Familiarity with computer programming concepts and database architecture
- Previous experience in consumer goods and/or product and marketing organization
- Experience with statistical software such as SAS, Python, Matlab, or R
- Experience with Power BI
- Experience with Salesforce
