Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team and help ensure the accuracy and reliability of our data systems. This role focuses on software integration testing and data validation across enterprise platforms. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute test plans, analyze results, and maintain high standards of data quality and performance.

**Location**:Greater Toronto Area (GTA) - Hybrid (4 days in-office)

**Status**: Contract

**Responsibilities**:

- Review data models, mappings, and design documents to create detailed SQL-based test scripts
- Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts (manual and automated)
- Execute test cases, analyze results, and report issues to the project lead
- Prepare regular status reports and communicate findings to stakeholders
- Collaborate with business and technology teams to gather and document requirements

**Qualifications**:

- Min 4 years of QA experience in database/DWH testing
- Strong SQL skills - develop QA validation scripts, execution of QA scirpts, data analysis and defect analysis through SQL
- ETL Testing & DWH expeirence - Fact Tables, Dimension tables, Slowly Changing Dimensions, etc

**Preferred Skills**:

- Experience with Sybase, Redshift, and Ab Initio
- Familiarity with AWS environments
- Relevant certifications in QA or testing methodologies
- Experience coaching or managing remote teams
