**Job Title**: QA Automation Analyst (Selenium)
**Reporting to**: QA Automation Manager / Team Lead
**Location**: Toronto

**Job Purpose**:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled QA Automation Analyst with a strong focus on Selenium to join our team. The QA Automation Analyst will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. This role requires expertise in Selenium WebDriver with Java and other relevant tools and frameworks.

**Responsibilities**:

- Utilize TestRail for test case management, including test case creation, organization, and execution tracking.
- Collaborate with QA engineers and developers to understand testing requirements, identify test scenarios, and design effective test cases.
- Implement and enhance test automation frameworks to improve efficiency, scalability, and maintainability.
- Conduct automated regression testing to validate new features, enhancements, and bug fixes.
- Integrate automated test scripts with TestRail if applicable, to streamline test execution and results reporting.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to analyse test results, identify defects, and troubleshoot issues.
- Participate in agile/scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews.
- Document test cases, test results, and defects in accordance with established processes and standards.
- Continuously research and evaluate new tools, technologies, and best practices in test automation and test case management.

**Requirements**:

- Degree in IT/Computer Science/Computer Engineering is desirable.
- Proven experience (3-5 years) as a QA Automation Analyst or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in test automation using Selenium WebDriver and Java programming language.
- Familiarity with the tools for test case management, execution and reporting such as TestRail, TestNg, etc.
- Experience with Jira for project management and issue tracking.
- Proficiency in Maven for project build automation.
- Experience with IntelliJ and/or Visual Studio Code as Integrated Development Environments (IDEs).
- Basic understanding of DB SQL Queries for database interaction in testing scenarios.
- Hands-on experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipeline.
- Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
