- Outcome: _
- All damage parts are prepared for storage (i.e. clean, wrapped and re-packaged) after Quality Control Technicians disposition as OK to return to inventory
- Incoming parts are un-packaged, cleaned and ready to be inspected.
- Mission_:

- Work closely with Inspectors, Quality Control Technicians and support teams to effectively re-package and return parts to inventory.
- Work closely with In-bound Inspectors to prepare parts for inspection
- Main Responsibilities: _
- Open crates safely
- Lift parts safely without damaging parts
- Clean parts (i.e. wipe with alcohol)
- Able to perform a visual inspection
- Prepares part for storage (i.e. spray VCI, wrap part to protect it)
- Close crates
- Liaise with Proactive to update High Jump

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

- Hands on and assertive
- Strong ability to load and unload large and heavy parts using crane (Certified crane)
- Strong ability to handle husky parts (i.e. which is critical surface, which is not critical)
- Strong ability to use hand and power tools (e.g. J-knife, screw driver, etc.)
- Has a quality mindset (e.g. no metal tools to avoid scratching parts) )

QUALIFICATIONS:

- High school and/or post-secondary education in mechanics, hydraulics and/or electrical studies
- 2-3 years relevant work experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Proven knowledge in a material handling of high precision, sensitive machined parts
- Basic ability to read and interpret packing list, bill of lating, etc.
- Working knowledge of gauges (mechanical, electrical, etc.) used in the quality process and calibration procedures
- Available to work a variety of shifts to support business
