Trouw Nutrition is looking for a **Mill Store Assistant Manager** to join our team in Westlock, AB. We are looking for someone who is passionate about Customer Service, able to participate in sales and business development, and the smooth running of the location. We count on your keen retail experience to make our store safe and engaging for our customers. Your communication skills and your ability to lead by example are driven by your focus to share information and keep our dedicated team motivated.

**A DAY IN THE LIFE**

The Mill Store Assistant Manager works closely with the Manager to execute store strategies, to grow store traffic, and to meet sales goals by training, motivating and providing feedback to the store team. On a day-to-day basis, your responsibilities will include:

- Maintaining outstanding store conditions and visual merchandizing standards
- Managing cash and inventory, completing store administration and ensuring process compliance
- Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service by the store team
- Proposing innovative ideas to increase market share
- Managing, supporting and developing staff
- Supporting the Manager dealing with issues that arise from staff or customers (complaints, grievances, etc.)

**PREFERRED HIRING CRITERIA**
- Previous retail or retail management experience, focused on excellent customer service
- Experience in Agriculture or the feed industry is preferred
- Business focus, and proven ability in accurate and cost-effective data-driven decision-making
- Customer management, strong organizational skills, and conflict resolution skills
- Proven ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
