Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Marketing Partnerships and Sponsorships Manager to join our Marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing strategic partnerships and sponsorships that align with our brand and business objectives. You will play a crucial role enhancing brand awareness among devoted pet lovers and driving traffic and revenue growth through mutually beneficial collaborations.

**Responsibilities**:
Development:
- Identify potential partners and sponsors that align with our brand and target audience.
- Initiate and nurture relationships with prospective partners through effective communication and negotiation.
- Draft, negotiate, and finalize partnership and sponsorship agreements
Strategy:
- Create and execute a sponsorship strategy that supports our marketing and business goals.
- Recommend the appropriate level of sponsorship investment based on partner objectives and budget.
- Collaborate with external agencies and internal teams to ensure alignment between sponsorship activations and marketing campaigns.
- Manage all aspects of the partnership and sponsorship relationships to ensure mutual success.
Measurement:
- Work with the Analytics teams to track and analyze the performance of partnerships and sponsorships to evaluate their impact on brand visibility and revenue.
- Use data-driven insights to optimize future partnerships and sponsorships.
Event and Activation Management:
- Oversee the planning and execution of events and activations related to partnerships and sponsorships.
- Coordinate logistics, branding, and promotional efforts for sponsored events.
- Ensure that all events align with brand values and messaging.
Budget Management:
- Develop and manage the budget for partnership and sponsorship activities.
- Monitor spending and provide regular financial reports to leadership.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain detailed records of all partnership and sponsorship agreements, communications, and outcomes.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations for management and stakeholders.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, product, and legal, to ensure the success of partnerships and sponsorships.
Market Research:
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor partnerships, and sponsorship opportunities.
- Identify emerging trends and potential partners that could benefit the organization.
Skills, Experience, Education, Certifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven experience in partnership and sponsorship management, preferably in a retail industry.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Exceptional project management and organizational abilities.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decisions.
- Creativity and innovation in identifying partnership opportunities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
