Halifax, Canada Lindalex Construction Inc. Full time

Based in HRM, Lindalex Construction offers full home renovation and construction including interior and exterior projects.

We are seeking motivated and dedicated general labourers to join our growing team and assist our skilled carpenters on various residential projects. If you’re a hard-working individual with a positive attitude and a desire to learn, we want to hear from you

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist carpenters with daily tasks, including material handling and equipment setup.
- Support the team by lifting, moving, and organizing materials on-site.
- Participate in site safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
- Follow directions accurately to ensure smooth project flow.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to help meet project deadlines.

**Qualifications**:

- 1 year of experience in carpentry or general construction is preferred.
- Familiarity with carpentry methods, tools, and equipment.
- Ability to follow instructions and pick up new skills quickly.
- Capable of lifting and carrying heavy materials, up to 50 lbs.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license are required.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Halifax, NS: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- construction: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- transportation to commute to various work site (required)
- Driver's license in Nova Scotia (required)
