Responsibilities
Operation of the cable press machine
- Install the reels on the unwinder
- Adjust die and ensure cable diameter every hour
- Clean and maintain machines
- Complete production tracking forms

Cable assembly
- Splice cables
- Fabricate all types of wire rope slings
- Measure, cut, roll and assemble wire rope and accessories as required
- Roll cable
- Follow work procedures and schedules
- Complete production reports or other required documents
- Inspect products (compliance/resistance) in accordance with internal/external customer requests
- Inform the manager of any equipment failure or breakdown
- Participate in the training of new employees
- Respect work procedures and deadlines
- Respect ISO standards and procedures
- Respect health and safety standards in the workplace
- Respect the general policies and regulations of the company
- Any other task required by this position

**Requirements**:

- Training related to splicing
- Know how to read and write
- Know how to read measurements (imperial and metric)
- Know how to splice
- Be able to use a vernier or other measuring instruments
- Good manual skills
- Very good physical ability
- Ability to work in a team
- Ability to work under pressure
- Punctuality
- Reliability
- Order and organization

Skills & Abilities
- Experience in wire rope splicing
