**Inventory Specialist**

Seeking an individual with some food experience, good interpersonal skills, highly detailed oriented and thrives in a fast paced, high pressure work environment. CLS Catering Services (part of LSG Sky Chef & Cathay Pacific) offers you the opportunity to be part of the inner workings of an exciting industry in a diverse and dynamic environment.

Reporting to the Storeroom Supervisor, this position is responsible for matching Purchase Orders against invoices and reporting inconsistencies, verifying the quantities of all items issued from the Storeroom, enter exact quantity of items issued to SAPMM with converted unit of measure.

**Job Duties**:

- Enter exact quantity of items issued and update prices and relevant info into SAPMM.
- Responsible for all company and customer owned merchandise received into CLS, and also the issuance of products to internal parties
- Ensure accurate stock levels of all company owned merchandise on SAPMM.
- Matches Purchase orders (POs) with invoice
- Participate in month end physical inventory processes if needed.
- Maintains compliance with standards of CFIA, HACCP, Work Safe, and all other regulatory requirements.
- Support all company initiatives.
- Ensure effective communication with department processes in order to implement improvements.
- Other duties as assigned

**Skills and Abilities Required**:

- Associated degree or equivalent knowledge of SAPMM.
- One year of experience working in a food service environment or food knowledge preferred.
- Internalization of company initiatives including CFIA, HACCP, Work Safe, GQS.
- Highly organized and very detail oriented.
- Strong communication skills, high work standards, conceptual and problem analysis skills.
- Excellent computer skills ( Medium-Advanced Microsoft Office )
- Must be flexible with work schedule and hours and adapt to changes according to operational requirements
- Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills.

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

**Experience**:

- inventory: 1 year (preferred)
- food service: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Canadian Work Permit/ Permanent Residence/ Canadian Citizen? (preferred)
