The Finance Intern, Toronto Blue Jays plays a key role in the management of financial activities for the Toronto Blue Jays. The Finance Intern, Toronto Blue Jays will report to the Senior Manager, Finance, Toronto Blue Jays and will work from the Rogers Centre.

**What you'll be doing**:

- Validate, code, and submit vendor invoices
- Prepare AR invoice requests to ensure timely billing
- Prepare journal entries to record various financial transactions
- Update budget and forecast templates in Excel
- Prepare wire/ACH requests
- Perform process improvement/standardization where applicable
- Prepare audit support
- Treasury/operations support
- Special projects as assigned

**What you have**:

- Currently pursuing a business/accounting/finance degree/designation/diploma
- Detail-oriented, ability to take initiative, and an excellent team player
- Ability to build strong working relationships with departments/teams and interact effectively with internal and external clients
- Proficient in Hyperion Smartview, Oracle Financial Systems, and Microsoft Office an asset
- Strong business acumen with excellent problem-solving skills
