The Role | Intern, Finance & Accounting (May-August 2025)
**Key Responsibilities
- Financial Data Management**: Assist in the preparation, review, and analysis of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
- Transaction Processing: Support the recording and reconciliation of financial transactions, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Budgeting & Reporting: Collaborate with team members to track and report on budget performance and capital expenditure related to real estate assets.
- Audit Preparation: Help prepare documentation for internal and external audits, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Data Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to support due diligence on potential investments and ongoing portfolio management.
- Administrative Support: Assist with ad-hoc projects, research, and administrative tasks as required by the VP, Finance and Finance Manager.

Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Working towards pursuing CPA Designation is strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial statements.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
