**Who We Are Looking For**

Under the general supervision of the Chief Financial Officer, the Finance Support Officer contributes the following skills to the success of our projects:
**Accounts Payable**
- Manage full cycle payable transactions in accordance with established policies.
- Process GST filings and corporate tax payments.
- Process WCB filings.
- Complete and post corporate master card reconciliations.

**Financial Reporting, Budgeting and Forecasting**
- Maintain source data for accurate and just in time financial reporting.
- Process accounting transaction to recognize interest adjustments, mortgage payments, property taxes and insurance in accordance with accounting principles.
- Manage the inputs related to the payables to ensure accurate financial budgets and forecasts for the organization.

**Banking and Cashflow**
- Complete bank reconciliations, bank transfers and cash management processes.

**Accounting Operations**
- This position is the primary role accountable for all payable processes, however, this position is also expected to cross train and work together as a team to support the accounts receivable functions of the organization.

**Year End Coordination and Administration**
- Assist with year end documentation and requests from external accountants, lenders and stakeholders.
- Digital filing and general administrative tasks

**Required Qualifications**
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- 2+ years hands on experience in a finance or accounting role
- Proficiency with computerized accounting software
- Proficiency with the use of Excel

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $65,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
