This role ensures the integrity and accuracy of financial data, adherence to regulatory requirements, and the effective leadership of a hybrid finance team. The Finance Manager will be responsible for financial reporting, internal controls, and supporting company-wide financial planning and strategy. We’re seeking an individual with strong analytical skills, proven leadership abilities, and a deep understanding of accounting processes who can drive operational excellence. **Key Responsibilities** - Oversee the full accounting cycle for nine pharmacies, including Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), Payroll, Treasury, Inventory, and month-end close processes, in compliance with GAAP/ASPE. - Lead and mentor a finance team of nine, including four local and three overseas staff, providing training, development, and conducting annual performance reviews. - Prepare internal financial reports, including routine and ad-hoc financial statements. - Manage the year-end process, working closely with external accounting firms for year-end preparation and tax filing. - Establish and maintain strong internal controls to ensure compliance with workflows and regulatory requirements. - Ensure timely and accurate remittances and reporting of GST, PST, WCB, and other government obligations. - Support budgeting and forecasting processes to meet company objectives. - Serve as the primary liaison with banks, vendors, and third-party stakeholders. - Lead the financial process integration for new pharmacy locations. - Perform other related duties as assigned, contributing to the overall financial health and efficiency of the organization. **Qualifications & Requirements** - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. - CPA designation (in progress or completed). - 5+ years of experience leading and managing a finance or accounting team. - Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting standards (GAAP/ASPE). - Advanced analytical skills and the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights. - Proficiency with financial software, including ERP systems and Excel. - Demonstrated leadership ability with a track record of building and managing effective teams. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both financial and non-financial stakeholders. **Core Competencies** We’re looking for a Finance Manager who embodies the following traits: - **Integrity**: Upholds the highest ethical standards and ensures confidentiality in all business interactions. - **Energy**: A passionate, driven individual who can maintain productivity while balancing life outside of work. - **Diversity Awareness**: Respects and values diverse perspectives and backgrounds. - **Communication**: Strong verbal and written communication skills for both internal and external audiences. - **Client Service Excellence**: A proactive and courteous approach to meeting internal and external customer needs. - **Teamwork & Relationship Building**: A collaborative leader who fosters strong working relationships across teams. - **Accountability**: Takes ownership of tasks and delivers results. - **Flexibility**: Can manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment, adapting to change as needed. **Join Our Team** If you’re a results-oriented leader with a passion for finance and accounting, and you’re looking to be part of a growing, community-driven organization, we want to hear from you Pay: $90,000.00-$105,000.00 per year
