**Position Summary**

As a Junior Logistics specialist for Caliber Communications Inc. (the Company), you will be responsible to liaise with clients and or site contacts to asses areas of concern and to design a plan to mitigate clients exposure to theft as well as other onsite hazards. When a survey is requested, you will be required to contact client and make arrangements for a site visit to get an in-depth overview of the project and any obstructions or limitations there may be. It is your responsibility to maintain a high level of respect for the client and the client’s property at all times, make yourself aware of all site regulations and strictly adhere to them. The position will require you to deal directly with customers and in most cases, you will be the first Caliber agent to meet them face to face so it is important to stay professional at all times. You will be required and expected to display exceptional customer service skills and uphold the Company’s integrity in the marketplace during your employment with the Company.

**Specific Duties/Responsibilities**
- Site visits/surveys to ascertain what equipment is needed to secure clients location
- Make detailed and accurate reports pertaining to site power and its location relative to mounting area of equipment
- Map creation with overlay of equipment location/locations
- Communicate client goals to the internal team (i.e. sales, operations and/or monitoring center)
- Address and answer all the clients questions and concerns
- Detail site hazards and limitations that will impede or slow technician at time of install
- Build relationships with clients to encourage new and repeat business opportunities
- Effectively communicate clients needs and expectations to relevant department (i.e. sales, service, monitoring/operations)
- Ensure install/service tickets are clear at relaying all pertinent information required to proceed with installation
- Make sure equipment list is detailed and accurately presented to warehouse staff
- Communicate with other logistic specialists and help balance workload if possible
- Transferring all data collected/required to the clients folder on the file server or create the client folder if absent

**Core Competencies**
- Clean drivers abstract and full “G” license
- Ability to problem solve and think outside of the box when installation is not straight forward and presents challenges
- Self-determined; independent and resourceful
- Ability to arrange your schedule to be efficient and productive
- Self-motivated and committed to constant learning and development
- Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner and keep client up to date with progress
- Must be able to “keep time” and be prompt when meeting a client for a scheduled site visit
- Good oral and written communications skills
- Excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with a broad range of internal and external parties
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Computer literate (experience using Microsoft Office)
- Self-starter

**Education**
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field (security) is preferred.

**Experience**
- Hands on knowledge of security cameras, CCTV, low voltage cable installation

**DUE TO THE NATURE OF THE POSITION CANDIDATES MUST LIVE WITHIN THE SURRONDING AREA (HAMILTON, ONTARIO) OF OUR HEAD QUARTERS**

**Salary**: $21.50 per hour
