**Norstar Windows and Doors has an immediate need for a newly created Logistics Planner position.**

**Job Details**:

- Location: 400 McNeilly Road, Stoney Creek, ON
- Hourly Wage: $20-24 depending on experience
- Benefits: Company-paid group medical, dental and insurance.
- The Logistics Planner ensures seamless transportation scheduling of outgoing and incoming shipments.
- This position understands the impact of these job tasks to other business functions that depend on the accuracy and efficiency of outgoing items.
- Timely communication with internal customers / stakeholders, and Norstar shipping and receiving department are essential functions for this position.

**Job Duties**:

- Using ERP electronic Delivery Scheduler, update deliveries and pickup.
- Review reports to include other possible product that can be included in deliveries and pickup to optimize fleet.

- Follow current standards and procedures.
- Maintain organized work area according to policies, procedures and safety regulations
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Other tasks as time and skill set allows.

**Requirements**:

- ** **High school diploma or GED
- Experience in the windows and doors industry preferred
- Work experience in shipping and receiving role is an asset
- Basic mathematical skills
- Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently
- Excellent data entry skills
- Attention to detail in all areas of work.
- Good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills.
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
